Celebrating the release of their third album, Lullaby, the award-winning New York City Children’s Chorus will share their favorite lullabies from Brahms’ “Wiegenlied” and Reger’s “Mariä Wiegenlied”, to traditional spirituals “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand” and “Steal Away,” to newly arranged lullabies for choir and string quintet, including the ethereal “Sleep, My Baby, Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head”, and “The Flower of Jesse”. Both of NYCCC’s advanced ensembles, In Harmony (SATB) and Concert Choir (SSA) will share their sublime contributions to the album under the direction of NYCCC Artistic Director, Mary Huff, and accompanied by Dr. Andrew Henderson & Friends.
